Wastewater treatment, municipal water infrastructure, and industrial sanitation systems depend on metal components that hold up under continuous exposure to water, chemicals, and pressure cycling. An application that corrodes early, loses dimensional accuracy, or fails at a weld seam can take cause an entire system failure.

TMS has been forming heavy gauge, high durability metal components for wastewater and sanitation applications since 1929. Common parts include inlet cones, outlet reducers, flanges, cylinders, tank heads, access port and manway covers, pump housings, transition pieces, and formed covers for wet wells and water treatment facilities. Components are formed from stainless steel, cold rolled steel, carbon steel, copper, and aluminum depending on application requirements and environmental exposure.

Metal spinning, deep drawing, rolling and seam welding, machining, laser cutting, and all secondary operations are performed in-house at TMS, meaning components ship complete and ready to install with no coordination delays.

Wastewater Treatment & Sewage

Wastewater and sewage treatment is the removal of solids and/or contaminants, which is vital to effectiveness of all water systems. Domestic sewage or sanitary sewage comes from used water from homes and apartments. Industrial sewage is used water from manufacturing and chemical processes, while storm sewage is runoff from precipitation. Agricultural wastewater comes from agricultural areas that contain toxic and hazardous chemicals. This could also come from irrigation water containing fertilizer or pesticides. Hospital wastewater is another type of wastewater that must be treated.

Without treatment may lead to scales and film, providing breeding grounds for bacteria and pathogens, causing serious health and safety risks. This may also cause corrosion, reducing capacity and production leading to an increase in water costs, disruption or reduced lifespan of commercial water infrastructure. Proper water treatment is essential not only for public health but also for the long-term success and sustainability of our communities

Filter housings, connector flanges, components for reverse osmosis systems, ultrafiltration systems, vacuum evaporators, feed well components, dredging equipment components

Waste Collection & Disposal

Innovative technologies have been implemented to assist in recycling and renewable energy. Automated robots assist with recycling including incinerators, industrial shredders, vibratory feeders, grapplers, granulators, compactors, and balers.  Robots are using artificial intelligence to sort recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials, increasing efficiency. This helps to lower the amount of waste that goes into landfills, and helps to conserve resources and reduce negative environmental impacts of waste. Leading to renewable energy, the recycling industry is growing at a rapid pace, and we are here to help innovation succeed.

Market:
Granulator, crushing, and blades, rotary batch mixer components, and sifting equipment applications,
