For nearly a century, Toledo Metal Spinning Company has been a key supplier of components for industrial machinery and processing equipment for the construction industry. Since 1929, we have been shaping metal into long-lasting solutions while earning a reputation as a trusted leader and manufacturing partner. Our commitment to innovation, quality, and delivery ensures we meet the industry’s evolving demands. As technology and fabrication needs change, we remain ready to adapt and deliver.
Heavy Industry
TMS manufactures and fabricates high-precision components that withstand extreme operations environments, a critical supply chain challenge. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, we specialize in custom metal fabrication for industrial equipment, providing build-to-print productionÂ
At TMS, deep drawing and metal spinning are utilized daily to provide high-durability solutions for the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power generation, and heavy equipment sectors. TMS can form from rugged deep drawn pressure vessel end caps, wellheads, to robust stainless steel separator cones, and double-walled material handling funnels.Â
For the oil and gas industry, TMS forms wellhead dust covers and protective caps to protect wellhead valves and assemblies from environments debris and corrosive marine air. Pipeline scraper cups and pigging discs are deep drawn cups used as the a structural pipeline of cleaning and and inspection “pigs” that travel through transmission lines. Flanged end caps are used to cover pressure tanks and autoclaves, and centrifugal separator bowls are typically spun stainless cones used in refineries, that separate oil, gas, and water mixtures by a heavy chemical rotation. Â
For power generation, mining, and processing, pulverizer mill housing liners are utilized in industrial coal or rock crushing mills, turbine inlet cones and exhaust shrouds are used in heavy gas turbine engines or industrial air compressors, fly ash funnels are used to catch hot fly ash from industrial boilers, and hydraulic accumulator bladder shells are typically placed as protective fluid or gas barriers inside industrial hydraulic systems for hevay mining equipment.Â
Construction
In commercial HVAC and building mechanical systems, TMS supports metal vortex suppressor cones for cooling towers, designed to reduce air vortexing and help prevent cavitation in large-scale chilled water systems. Deep-drawn VAV mixing plenums provide smooth internal air blending for zoning systems while reducing turbulence and noise. Large spun transition funnels and cones for commercial kitchen exhaust hood liners could also serve high-temperature grease handling applications where leak-free, seamless construction is critical. In architectural applications, heavy-gauge column covers and spun finials provide a clean, modern finish for commercial structures while maintaining structural consistency.
For abrasive construction equipment and material processing systems, TMS-formed components align well with high-wear environments. Heavy-gauge pugmill mixer liner shields can extend service life in asphalt and concrete mixing systems exposed to constant aggregate abrasion. Seamless stainless steel drywall mud mixing tubs offer a durable, corrosion-resistant solution for high-use contractor environments. Deep-drawn pressure vessel domes for pneumatic sandblaster pots support high-pressure surface preparation equipment, while hydro-excavation truck debris tank caps provide rugged sealing ends for vacuum excavation systems handling rock, soil, and slurry. Post-hole auger shrouds round out additional applications where containment and wear resistance are critical in field conditions.
Bulk Handling
TMS specializes in seamless forming, reducing welds where possible, to minimize the risk of friction and abrasive wear in harsh environments. Bulk material handling equipment and systems demand components built for flow, durability, and long-term performance. At Toledo Metal Spinning, seamless flow discharge cones for large silo bottoms are designed to reduce material buildup and improve discharge consistency. Internal blending cones help minimize particle segregation during gravity discharge, along with heavy-gauge bin discharger vibration rings engineered to withstand repeated cyclical stress. For high-capacity loading applications, telescoping loading chute cones are formed for strength, nesting capability, and effective dust containment during railcar, truck, and ship loading operations.
For pneumatic and mechanical conveying systems, TMS manufactures spun cyclone separator cones designed to support efficient material separation from air streams. Deep drawing and sheet metal stamping capabilities produce rotary airlock valve shrouds and end caps built to maintain system pressure in abrasive environments, wear sleeves for high-impact conveying line bends, and rugged screw conveyor hanger bearing cups that help protect critical internal auger assemblies from contamination.
In processing and material refinement applications, precision-formed vibratory screen separator decks designed to securely support heavy screening media, as well as balanced centrifugal sifter bowls for demanding food and chemical processing environments are formed through spinning, deep drawing, stamping, or hydroforming. TMS forming capabilities also support large agglomeration pelletizer pan rims for powder-binding systems and high-volume production of deep-drawn dust collector filter bag cage caps used in industrial baghouse filtration systems.
Sanitation and Recycling
TMS has been forming heavy-gauge stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum high durability metal applications for industrial and municipal applications. Wastewater, industrial sanitation systems, and municipal water infrastructure depend on durable and precisely formed metal components that last under constant exposure to a variety of chemicals, water, and chemical cycling. TMS has nearly a century of experience in fabricating inlet cones, access port and manway covers, flanges, outlet reducers, tank heads, cylinders, transition pieces, pump housings, and formed covers for wet wells and water treatment.
Although stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum are common materials, TMS can work with and form from a variety of other metals and alloys, while meeting material and finish specifications and requirements through a variety of forming processes including: metal spinning, deep drawing, rolling and seam welding, laser cutting, and machining, all in-house. TMS components will ship complete, and installation-ready.
