Deep Drawn Stainless Steel Metal Domes
Deep drawn metal domes are utilized across a wide range of industrial, commercial, transportation, and architectural applications where a seamless, structurally sound curved enclosure is required. Because each dome is formed from a single sheet of metal through the deep drawing process, the finished part is 100% seamless, with no weld seams, joints, or weak points at the transition between the wall and the dome profile. This makes deep drawn domes particularly well suited for vacuum chambers, food manufacturing covers, enclosures, and any application where leak integrity or structural uniformity matters.
TMS has designed and built in-house tooling to produce metal domes in multiple diameters and radius configurations, available in a variety of materials, depending on the application. Standard configurations are shown in the table below. Straight wall heights are available on most sizes, and custom hole patterns can be pierced using our dedicated dome piercing unit.

Frequently Asked Questions about Sanitary Stainless Steel Funnels & Cones
A sanitary funnel is built specifically for applications where hygiene and cleanability are critical. The key differences are the 32 Ra interior surface finish, the TIG welded sanitary tri-clamp end fitting, and the smooth radius transition between cone and fitting, all of which are designed to eliminate crevices, support cleaning, and meet contact surface standards. Standard industrial funnels use a plain outlet and are not finished or constructed to sanitary specifications.
Yes. The sizes in the table represent common configurations. TMS builds to print and can accommodate non-standard diameters, volumes, cone angles, and fitting types.
