TMS was founded in 1929, which means it has certainly faced challenges and navigated through difficult times – whether that be the Great Depression, Great Recession, the devastating fire in 1998 that burned the company to the ground, an economic slowdown, or more recently, the 2020 pandemic. TMS has survived and continues to thrive, while ensuring its employees have always been taken care of. It has been a place that has built 20-45 year careers, with two or even three generations of workers. TMS takes the time to train employees, including cross-training to do other jobs so they can be flexible and help when certain areas of business slow down, while other areas get busier.
