Toledo Metal Spinning Restructures Company

In 1999, with the challenge of the fire behind them, the company initiated the implementation of Lean Manufacturing Techniques to increase efficiency and decrease lead times.  The one piece flow system required the company to organize its manufacturing space into cells, rather than departments. Toledo Metal Spinning began working as usual, while acquiring new machinery along the way. New parts were being made, new customers are making orders, and TMS was back on its feet again
